We will be pouring brews, slinging Pit 14 BBQ and getting down to some of the finest honky tonk Country music brought to you by The Neon Prairie Dogs. With Headlining sets from Whitey Morgan on Thursday night, and John Paycheck on Saturday night!
The Neon Prairie Dogs are Based out of Oregon, but consist of 3 very creative minds from of The Black Hills of South Dakota. Zach Retzl and Jon Ventrella were rocking bars back in 2007 while still in high school as the heavy blues duo you may remember as “Dead Coyote” after a brief relocation to LA and both serving our country eventually find themselves in the Pacific northwest, collaborating with Spearfish guitar virtuoso Sam Matson who you could have seen playing lead guitar in the Black Hills for the Fire Nuns, the band formerly known as The Wax Bananas. Becoming a well known and fan favorite at rodeos and street dances in Pendleton, performing everything from a wide selection of originals to The Dixie Chicks, honky tonk covers of Abba and yes, even Britney Spears…..
